RPM III IEC DC Motor is the natural extension of Reliance Electric's variable
speed product line. World markets are now served with the reliability and service
that you expect from Reliance Electric.
Backed
by Reliance's 90 years of DC motor experience, the RPM III DC incorporates
features and technology into a superior product built for and matched to
solid state rectified power supplies.
Construction Features
- Laminated square frame for maximum power generation.
Efficient material and space utilization provides superior ventilation
and better heat dissipation.
- Feet-on-bracket construction provides mounting
rigidity, minimizes vibration.
- Patented PLS(R) lubrication system
guarantees proper bearing lubrication and increases bearing life.
- Oversized terminal boxes and hand hole opening make
maintenance access easy.
- Rotating brush rocker assembly minimizes brush
replacement time. Rocker is match marked to ensure that it can be
returned to a neutral setting.
- Every motor is tested for proper commutation and
performance tested under load.
- Built in an ISO 9001 certified plant.
- Radial brush holders ensure positive, continuous contact
between the brush and commutator, resulting in greater commutation and
extending brush life.
